Meet the Rees Family

Chris and Annette Rees have been married for 24 years and are the proud parents of three incredible kids—two daughters, Makayah and Ainsleigh, both currently in college, and their youngest, Nathaniel, who’s navigating the halls of high school with style.
They’ve been in ministry for over 26 years, including 22 years walking closely with youth and their families. These days, their passion runs deep for nurturing authentic community within the church—and inspiring meaningful engagement beyond its walls.
Chris was born in West Texas and survived the heat long enough to graduate from Katy High School. Annette hails from New York—but made it to Texas as soon as she could and isn’t looking back. The Rees family has spent 9 of the last 16 years rooted in Lake Jackson, and it’s safe to say: this is home. When they imagine meeting Jesus face to face, it’s likely to be somewhere right around here.
Together, Chris and Annette bring a love for Scripture, people, conversation, and a bit of holy mischief. Whether you’re brand new to church life or have been walking this path a while, they’d love nothing more than to welcome you in, share a laugh, and help you feel like you belong.
