RECOVER & RE|EQUIP for LIFE BEYOND HURTS, HABITS, & HANGuPS

Recover & ReEquip groups remind us that we don’t have to walk this journey alone. Here, you’ll discover that your story matters and that a new life is possible beyond past hurts, habits, and hang-ups. There is hope—and healing is on the way..

Below you will find information on the different Recover & Re|Equip groups offered at New Beginnings Church:

PATHWAY TO PEACE

Meetings are ongoing on Sundays at 4PM.
Pathway to Peace Recovery Ministry is here to help you take the first step toward freedom from the overwhelming and seemingly hopeless grip of addiction. Our heart is to build a strong foundation in Christ as we grow, mature, and find strength through God’s Word. Together, we explore what Scripture teaches about healing and restoration while walking through the twelve steps of recovery with support, honesty, and hope.

RECOVERY Service

Services are the 2nd Friday | Fellowship at 6:30pm, Service at 7pm.
Recovery Service is a safe, grace-filled gathering for anyone walking the journey of recovery. Whether you’re overcoming addiction, rebuilding your life, or supporting someone you love, you’ll find hope, encouragement, and community here. Through honest conversation, faith-based support, and practical tools, Recovery Collective offers a place to heal, grow, and begin again. No judgment. No pressure. Just real people finding new strength—together.

Recovery is a ministry of New Beginnings Church, created to help you discover the hope and healing found in Christ and in community.   Our purpose is to be a bridge between the 12-Step Fellowships and the Church. This is a chuch service created by the recovery community for the recovery community.

GRIEF SHARE

GriefShare helps group members apply biblical principles to the healing process after the death of a loved one. Throughout the videos and workbook, participants see how the gospel brings hope and restoration.

  • Surviving the Holidays: GriefShare’s Surviving the Holidays is a 2-hour, video-based event hosted during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
    • DATES: Sunday, November 16 from 2pm - 4pm
  • Grief Share: GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
    • Beginning Sunday, January 11 from 2pm - 4pm
  • Loss of a Spouse: Loss of a Spouse is a stand-alone, two-hour seminar. After losing a spouse, the temptation to isolate in your grief is understandable; it’s often easier to hide away rather than force a public smile. However, reaching out to supportive, uplifting people is essential for grieving in a healthy way and finding relief.
